CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW

Post by vijayavani » Tue Feb 19, 2013 7:05 am

Hi Gurus,

I got short dump while executing Payroll 'CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW'

Error analysis as below shown in the short dump:
Error analysis
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW', w
caught in
procedure "FUCUMBT" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
The COLLECT statement stores totals in the internal table
"\PROGRAM=SAPFP51T\DATA=CVS[]",
but the values are too large for the type P field intended to store
them.

The name of the field is "ANZHL".

Time evaluation is ok for all the Employees; but the error in payroll.
Do any one have idea on this?
Please help.
Thanks.

One of your wagetypes is cumulating a very large number. much larger than what the field can handle. find it - should be easy to find. and then find out why?
