Change in Employee ID (PeopleSoft)

Post by ZZakaria » Wed Nov 21, 2012 2:36 am

Hi there,

My client is currently running PS HRMS (Peoplesoft) as its HRIS solution & integrated to SAP FI (AP - vendors), Procurement as well as Security. Currently, it is considering to change its alphanumeric employee ID format within PS HRMS to a single numeric employee ID format.

Anyone can advice its impact on SAP Security?

Thanks in advance, & Regards.

Not on security - I can't see an impact.

Just to be on the safe side, I'm going to move this to HR.

I cannot think of why any HR related impact would happen either. I assume you will be taking care of the Global Active Directory or whatever that is called is correctly linked up with the new employee numbers.
