Creating Roles for HR

Postby farhanali81 » Wed Oct 24, 2012 1:08 am

I have to create a role with access to PA20 tcode only. The problem is that, the HR official has told me that he wants the user (to whom the role will be assigned) to view non-financial information upto any level (SEVP,EVP,SVP,VP,....) but financial information like basic salary, medical allowance etc upto VP level only.

How can I configure this in one role.

How have you represented grade structure in your HR org model?

Personal Area: It contains the code for our company.

Employee Group: It contains values of "Permanent", "Contractual" or "Others"

Employee Sub-Group: It contains the Grades(SEVP, EVP, SVP, VP, AVP, OGI etc) for employees, no matter whatever employee group they belong to. this is where we require restriction.

Thanks for the info. Have you tried using P_ORGIN create 2 authorisation sets? -

one auth set with all the non-financial infotypes for all users
one with only the financial infotypes for for the ESA's up to VP.
These can be in the same role.

just copy your existing authorisation for P_ORGIN & then you will have 2 auth sets to work with.
