Quota Generation varies on Hiring Date

Hi All

Sorry if this is a repetitive question however, I couldnt find anything relevant for this topic. I have a scenario where I need to generate different numbers for the same quota depending upon the Hiring date of the employee. Ex:

Employee joins before 1st Mar 2012 should get 10 days for Annual leave while those joining after 1st mar 2012 should get 12. Is there a standard way of configuring this?

Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

What happens if you simply define the quota entitlements in T559L for different date ranges, i.e from 01.01.1900 to 29.02.2012 as 10 days and from 01.03.2012 to 31.12.9999 as 12 days

Hi Rangachary

This wouldnt solve coz any person who's joined before Mar'12 should continue to keep getting 10 days Annual Leave. Your suggestion would make them enjoy 12 days as soon as they've crossed over in April... :(

Oh Ok,

Then it appears as if you need two Quota Selection Rule Groups, one with Base Entitlement of 10 days and another with 12 days.
In quomo feature point them both to the rule group with 12 days

The you want to use EXIT_SAPLHRLV_001 in HRPTIM03 to set the correct Quota Selection Rule group based on the hiring date of the employee.

This can also be done easily if you generate quotas in time evaluation.
