IT0052 Prorating Issue

Post by Sleepyjoe » Thu Apr 21, 2011 4:13 am

Hi,

I'm trying to help somebody whose company uses IT0052 and as we don't use it ourselves, I'm not sure how to fix the following problem. The paying out wage type is prorating if there is a split in the month caused by another wage type on IT0014 being delimited on the record. This is presumably because processing class 10 in 512W_D is set to 1 and it is prorating according to /801. If processing class 10 is set to 0, the IT0052 wage type pays out fine in the month the IT0014 wage type is delimited but if the record is made a leaver in the following month, the wage type is paying out double presumably because the splits are carried all the way through the schema and not being eliminated (XVAL?). My question is, have I missed something in the way 512W_D should be set, or is the only option to create a PCR to adjust the IT0052 wage type to the correct amount?

Regards,
Sleepyjoe
