Merging of global employee records using LSMW and batch mode

Hi,
A call out to anyone with global employee expertise please.

Does anyone have any experience of the running the 'Merge and Split of Global Assignments' program - transaction HRMGE0090 in a batch input sitiuation. In our case specifically as part of an LSMW. The program does not copy the person ID (IT0709) from the home record (in our case) to the host record as expected. The persons are linked to the CP object fine but the 0709 copy is not done.

Works perfect in foreground just not in LSMW/BATCH situation. Any help appreciated.

Please check the name of HRMGE0090 program. It doesnt exist on my side.
