Delimiting in the Background

Post by SKLDAB » Tue May 05, 2009 6:02 am

Gurus

Hoping someone can clarify for me if during a PA40 action it is possible to delimit in the background.
We have tried to enter a ‘/d’ at the end of the line in the dynamic actions, other options we thought to explore were;

A user exit on IT0000 or a function in the dynamic actions table, however it seems that the developer is having problems with these options .
Does anyone have any further suggestions?

Thank you

Hi,

current client has multiple infotypes which during a termination are delimited in the background.
These are called via user exit and are transferred into direct BDC processing.

Hence, should be possible.

Willie.

Hi,

I use the following dynamic action to delimit an Infotype where the time constraint is set to 2, ie no overlappings.

0000 MASSG 04 100 * DELIMIT COST DISTRIBUTION FOR TRANSFER OUT
0000 MASSG 04 105 P P0000-MASSG='65'
0000 MASSG 04 115 I COP,0027,,,(P0000-BEGDA),(P0000-ENDDA)/D
0000 MASSG 04 125 I DEL,0027/D

It copies the existing Infotype from the date of the action which automatically delimits it and then deletes the copy you've just created. You could specify that SY-TCODE='PA40' if it only applies in PA40 - the above scenario also applies in PA42 for us.

If time constraint is not 2, I'd investigate Willie's suggestion - but that's getting too technical for me! :-)
