GBSXP KIT Day Checking Being Ignored

Hi

I am implementing statutory maternity/paternity etc using SAP standard functionality ... my absence processing is working fine, but KIT days are causing me a problem.

My KIT day payments are created correctly in GBSXP however internal checks on the number of kit days are being ignored & its processing 12 days in one payroll period without issueing an error message. Nor is it stopping the statutory payment for the week which days 11 & 12 are in.

Other than the original implementation note 988882 I don't seem to be able to find any other notes with any implementation instructions in. The note makes it sound very seemless ..
Am struggling to read NCALE ... but think this may not be being updated correctly ... my absence type for KITM has category M assigned for SMP kit day.

Have found the function module HR_GBSXP_CHECK_KIT_DAYS & put a breakpoint in there but payroll does not seem to go into here when its run.

Payroll does not error ... but does not warn me I have used too many KIT days.

Any suggestions on where to check my config would be gratefully received.

Just sussed it !

The abs subtypes were named incorrectly .. had not named them KITM .... had used customer namespace !
