Value type 11 transaction by non statistical internal order

Postby bettedavis » Mon Aug 04, 2014 9:24 pm

Hello

I have a following journal;

CR Expense $100 with I/O 70xxxx
DR Expense $100 with I/O 80xxxx

Then the system settles all the transactions with I/O 80xxxx, to AUC every month e.g

CR Expense $100 with I/O 80xxxx
DR AUC $100

We have a BI tool feeding from SAP. Any transaction with I/O 80xxxx is internal allocation with value type 11 so the BI tool excludes value type 11 transactions in the reporting.

My issue is that some transactions that are supposed to be value type 4 appear to be value type 11.
Having looked at some of the cases in our SAP, all the I/Os attached to those line items have no investment profile set up.
In the above example, the line with I/O 70xxxx should be value type 4 but it is value type 11 in the BI tool , and the I/O 70xxxx has no investment profile.

Can someone please explain how having no investment profile is related to generating value type 11 transaction?

Thank you in advance.
