Foreign Currency on Bank Account GL

Postby willmarks » Wed Jan 29, 2014 6:34 am

Hello,
I have a company code with LC EUR. It has a GBP Bank Account GL - so document currency in this account is GBP.

The situation with the account is that when I view the balance in GBP (tcode FAGLB03) for this account the GBP value is zero. When I view the balance in EUR, the balance is 15,000 EUR.

I'm at a loss as to how to reconcile the two balances. Ideally if the GBP balance is zero, the EUR balance should also be zero?

How do I achieve this?

William

Run FAGL_FC_VAL to revalue the account automatically - it will write off the LC balance to P&L.
Alternatively, use FBB1 for manual revaluation: doc.currency GBP, amount in DC = 0, amount in LC = 15k.

Thanks darkduck. Worked perfectly using FBB1.
