In-House Cash (FSCM-IHC) payment orders automation

There doesn't seem to be much on In-house Cash in SAPFans so I thought I would put in some knowledge that I have gained recently. I wanted to get the IHC Payment orders to post automatically as part of the daily process chain but I couldn't use transaction IHC0 or the program behind it IHC_UTIL_COCKPIT as they can't run in background. It took some time but I found IHC_APPL_PROCESS which could. I hope this saves someone some time.
