KO01 assign cost element to internal order (IO) - RESOLVED

Post by funkymonkey » Thu Aug 20, 2009 10:52 pm

Hi SAPFans,

I'm in need of your expertise please!

I've created an internal order in KO01. My client is requesting that the IO be assigned with a GL account/cost element. I've tried OKB9 but found that this only works if you're using the right GL account to begin with.

Is there a way we can add a cost element when creating an internal order??

Many thanks for your help on this,
FM

I don't know if there is a way to do what you are asking but you can create a validation rule to ensure the order can only be posted with the correct cost element (OB28).

Hi rje,

Thanks for the quick reply. OB28 looks like something we can use .. just have to weigh up the maintenance issues.

Thanks again,
FM
