Scraping of multiple assets.

Postby debiprasana80 » Tue Nov 18, 2008 11:28 pm

Dear all,

While trying to scrap multiple assets we need to be able to paste asset numbers from clipboard. So is there any option available where we can paste multiple assets? Or please tell me the procedure of pasting multiple assets from clipboard to ABAVN? Please explain me briefly.

Thanks a lot in advance!!

I apologise for being so pedantic..having a bad morning here.

Ok, so once on the multiple entry screen you are limited to pasting 5 entries at a time. The upload from clipboard option is "greyed out".

Three possible solutions that I know of (possibly a functional one may come from the others, but my brain is not working this morning);

1.)Create a Custom ABAP upload,

2.) When on the mutliple entries screen, "copy" your data so it is on the clipboard > enter the following BDC-OKCODE in the command box TC_133_PASTE

You might want to test this option as unfortunately I don't have time too.

3.) Activate the option to upload from clipboard in SE41.

Another option might be to use transaction LSMW.
