Activating a Substitution

Postby wasseem » Mon Oct 21, 2002 2:34 pm

I created a substitution, but it will not work. I know that it is correct.
Is there a way to "activate" it.

Thanks

Hope this helps you.

In IMG: Financial Accounting / Financial Accounting Global settings / Document / Line item / Define validation for posting

In IMG: Enterprice controlling / PCA / Assignment to PC / Sales order / Sales order substitution / Assign substitution rules

If you are sure that you have created the substitution correctly, you could use program RGUGBR00 to regenerate it. See OSS note 42615.

also if you activate the "trace" in validations config, the system will tell you whether your pre-req and check have passed or failed.

Hi,

You may use quite handy tr. code GGB4. To create and to activate in different application areas.

HI,

I had the same problem and I was missing two things:
- activating the substition on transaktion OBBH (updates the substitution into table T001Q
- running the program RGUGBR00.

BUT when I changed my substitution so that it doesn't use parameters (C_EXIT_PARAM_NONE, before it was C_EXIT_PARAM_FIELD), and when I now run the RGUGBR00 the parameters still remains and I get a error message PERFORM_TOO_MANY_PARAMETERS.

How should I use RGUGBR00?

Thanks for your advice.
