hi if u r in 46c , no need to add the service sapgw11 in the services file, it will automatically add when u configure STMS . It won't automatically add the entry in the services file since the file is owned by root or by Administrator ( STMS uses the id <sid>adm which doesn't have the file permiss...

It's possible and is supported by SAP (as stated on SAP's document on heterogeneous landscapes). You can check the SAP Notes for guide on how to build such setup for Oracle (if I remember it correctly, there's three SAP Notes on how to build the landscape in Oracle [and the NFS client/server softwar...

service 'sapgw11' unknow/CPI-C error
All you need to do is add the service sapgw11 in the services file (found on /etc on UNIX or \WINNT\system32\drivers\etc on NT)

The stopsap command is just an alias to the file stopsap_<hostname>_<system number>. Try finding that file and posting the contents here ... (Your environment variable seems to be okay)

You'll still be able to restart SAP even if you deleted the profiles on RZ10 since SAP uses the profiles found on the /sapmnt/<SID>/profiles directory. You can get back the current active profile on RZ10 by using one of the functions on the menu (Import profiles->Active servers).

Hi guys, Follow-up on MichaelPhillips's question/statement: Since SAP is updating the SPAM version, they're also changing the way the support packages are applied. Before, all you have to do is reset the PAT* tables. Now, you also have to reset the TMS. What is being pointed here is that you should ...

I think your problem is due to the OPS$ problem (As part of the system copy procedures, you have to recreate the OPS$ userid in Oracle). But we need more info why your jobs get cancelled. Can you click on the details in DB13? old jobs will remain in red. Delete future entries from the DB13 screen. I...
