Re: Wrong subarea default

Thanks Greg! It turned out that it WAS a security problem. I have been redoing our roles, and changing some non-HR roles affected HR roles... Had to add infotype 1008 to PLOG and that resolved the issue.

Wrong subarea default

We have a position which is set up with a particular Personnel Area and Personnel subarea via PP01. However, when we do a re-hire, an different (incorrect) personnel subarea defaults in. How can I troubleshoot this? We have been changing some security access so that might play a role.

Re: Production orders rescheduling when revoking TECO

Excellent point, thanks again Ramarao! I'll check with our Abapper to see if a user exit can be located.

Re: Production orders rescheduling when revoking TECO

Hi R, thanks for your reply!

Yes, automatic scheduling is active, and we do not want to stop that. I guess one solution would be to regularly run a program that removes the automatic scheduling checkbox from all teco'd production orders. Not extremely elegant, but should work. What do you think?

Re: MRP to create Stock Transport Orders

If you have the SPK set up with F, U and the respective Plant (central warehouse), your purchase req's should be assigned to that Plant. Is this not the case when you look at the "Deliv/recv plant" column in MD04?

Production orders rescheduling when revoking TECO

We automatically (COHV) set all our production orders to TECO status after a certain period. Sometimes users have the need to revoke that status, for example to be able to reprint the orders. When revoking TECO and saving the orders, the dates are changed (both basic and scheduled finish dates chang...

Re: Creating planned orders by source

No. Our finished goods are MTS, and I guess in that case the "individual requirements" setting for the semifinished goods isn't taken into account. There is no link between demand and supply (unfortunately).

Creating planned orders by source

One of our plants (lets call it 1000) produces seminfin goods for our other plants (1100,1200,1300). These materials are ordered via stock transport orders, then shipped via delivery notes to the receiving plants. MRP consolidates the different STO releases into one planned order. At this point, pla...

Re: Weird material problem

Hi HT, the picking status was still in "A". We didn't think that was a problem since it is a raw material... could be wrong though.

Weird material problem

We have a material which has been sent from one plant to another via STO, and something is wrong... It looks like it went through delivery note creation and pgi alright, but there is still a "DELVRY" item showing in MD04, with blank MRP Element data. Normally it would show the delnote number there. ...

Re: s_tcode copy standard transactions to manual object?

Thanks for your reply! I went the manual route, but there is a snag. Each time someone adds a transaction to the menu tab, it wipes out my manual S_TCODE branch. How do you download roles to notepad or excel, and then upload them? Knowing that would ease the manual copy/paste that I've been d...

s_tcode copy standard transactions to manual object?

Let me back up a step here... we have several security roles (PFCG) that were derived from standard SAP roles. The request has come up to exclude certain transactions from these roles. I figured the best way would be to copy the standard tcodes into a manual s_tcode, and exclude the ones that they s...
