Dartan, The program deletes the records out of mbew. Again... I would not recommend that to anyone (it's probably against every sensible SAP rule). There is a little interface that gives me the option to view the records without doing any harm yet. Yes, if the inventory is zero, I can use that to de...

Yes. Repeat output creates a new message that you can print. Just make sure you repeat the "unchanged" one to list the entire PO. If you repeat the changed one you will only see the changes.

You can delete views via ABAP, but it is a dangerous thing. We have been using a tool that deletes the accounting view, and managed to get MM and FI out of balance  until we learned that before doing that we needed to reduce inventory to zero. So... I guess archiving is a better solution......

Are you sure? Did you check that the component was actually changed only in the future? In my case, even though I specified a future valid from date (say 3 months from now) running MRP changed planned orders to the new component starting next week :? Not familiar (yet) with ECO... not that sophistic...

Can you first print the changes, then go back and repeat output for the original message? That will print the entire updated PO.

hi MMPP, have you tried the option what you sugested... it does'nt work  My apologies, no I did not check. The checkmark only allows you to exclude closed Preqs, not to display them exclusively. To see closed PReqs, you could use SE16, table EBAN, and in the selection screen set the desire...

BOM change effectivity date

Is it possible to make changes to BOMs with an effective date in the future? For example, you know that in 3 months a certain component will change. I thought the "valid from" date in CS02 would allow this, but no matter what date I enter there, all changes are effective immediately. So it is probab...

Or use SHDB to record the transaction, then create a mailmerge text file and execute it in SM35.

That doesn't seem like a elegant solution... but can you print the changes, discard them, then reprint the entire PO? I guess it depends on your volume of PO's and changes... hopefully someone else can help.

Use ME21 instead of ME21N. There you can specify a particular line/new record.

hsd, Thanks for your consideration! In our specific setup, the production time is very short, like an hour, then the material is received into stock where it matures for several weeks, and then it is transferred (in the case of semi) to the requesting plant. During that period of several weeks, the ...

I don't know about the report, I would use SQ01 to create one.

Have you tried to blank out the info record prices? Will that default the contract price?

Sorry to be of no help

I think once created, you can delete the view only via ABAP.
