Hello, So are u taking the 2nd approach? In this case, right after you uploaded your stock balance (before go-live), I suggest you use MI10 and enter count. The advantages are as follows: 1. Your stock that has been extracted should have been verified by the inventory staff. For the c-items especial...

Hello, You mentioned "other than ABAP programs". Just curious, why? Can I say that you are looking for a tool like DX or LSMW? Even for the most friendly tools, you will still need to go through the exercise of defining the "open qty", extracting the information you need in the format the upload too...

Hello, Transactional data refers to your stock/inventory balance, your open purchase/sales Orders, etc. Master data refers to Material Master (MM), Price Master(MM/SD), Vendor/Customer master (MM/SD), Bank Master (FI), Cost Center (CO), G/L Master (FI), BOM (PP/SD), Routing (PP), etc. Usually in a t...

Hello, Good question. I just joined the forum and have not seent his posting. I have no access to system as yet, but if memory serves me correct, there should be cycle count indicator to indicate to the system (and user) on what materials have been (or have not been) counted within a particular cycl...

Hello Lee, Sorry, I read your posting again and understand that you want this at the Material level. Have not encounter such a requirement for a normal product as most materials to be purchased FOC is procured with price most of the time. Other than using non-valuated plant, not sure of other ways. ...

Hello,

That was me just now. I left out a point:

6. Powerful as it is, i usually upload my transaction data (with the exception of stock balance) through other means as more flexibility is required.

Cheers.

Hello Gops,

I don't quite understand what is it you need, maybe you can paint the scenario for me. Ralf's suggestion is already putting the click in all item ok checkboxes as default, which we think is what you need, as you have said in yr first mail.

Hello, Believe me, you will be worried if system can automatically create PO instead of "proposing" an intermediate INTERNAL document like planned order or PR. Anyway, the question should then be the tools available to convert pr(s) to PO as well as how to make this as "automatic" as possible, say t...

NM, Interesting qn. My 2-cents worth. In my opinion, 561/562 will be more straight-forward with minimal impact as compared to transfer postings. As an example, if a cocd has 2 plants and only 1 plant going on WM, if both are on moving average price, if you tp 1 plant to the other, after the exercise...

Hi,

You still need to go to SM35 to run the batch input. The sxdb basically arranges your input file into a format necessary for the batch upload. The upload formatted file is kept in your stated logical file.

Cheers.

Hello Stevo,

We have to create new UOMs for these in one of my projects, SHT and SET. That was 4.6C 2 years ago. Not sure if they have it now.
