Re: abap editor

I don't know of anything that is exactly what you are talking about. I do however remember a book that supposedly came with a mini basis instance. I don't remember the price, but I don't remember it being extreme. The instance let you write and test some ABAP if I remember correctly. I have no clue ...

Re: BAPI_MATERIAL_GETINTNUMBER assigns 10 internal numbers

What you are probably seeing is that it buffers 10 numbers. The buffer is lost when you restart the instance. Therefore, you have to get the next 10 to fill the buffer. At least that would be my first guess. If that doesn't make sense for some reason, you may need to give us some more details on you...

Re: transport request

I'll provide a simple clue. Anyone who has ever logged on and then created a transport, knows what it meant. They had to because to specify/call/(I don't know how to tell you with out giving away the answer) the logon Icon, you had to specify those 3 characters. Some further research should now give...

Re: Change initial password to permanent

I have a way, but everyone will beat me for it. Oh heck I'm a masachist anyway (thus I'm an ABAPer, Basis, PS Configurer, Project Manager). Just change the last changed date in USR02. No, you better not. It's totally against the rules. Just pretend that I didn't say this.

Re: Not all elements print second time around

How does your main look in your next page? <that may not be the correct term, I'll check it when I get to work.>

I'd bet your right. When we wend from 4.5 to 4.7 we had to do 3 oracle upgrades.

Re: Problems printing with HP840C

Definitely have your basis guy check to see that you have the most current print driver for that printer. Also, he will want to check his printer definition settings.

Re: Not all elements print second time around

New page throws a new page. At that time, all of the non-main windows are re-issued. The page_no and page variables are controled from within the sapscript system. I don't see enough code to really know what it's doing, but I'd guess that you need to uncomment it and it's components.

Re: Not all elements print second time around

Can you run the original form and print program and verify that they don't do the same? Also, could you paste in the code from your column header text element?

Re: Delete rule for referential constraint structures

The one rule that I would add is always delete from the referencing table first and always make sure that you maintain the LUW Concept by handling your commits and rollbacks properly. Or is that two rules.
