Re: SAP CRM Certification

Personally, I would say that you are moving on too soon. You are only a minimal intermediate ABAPer. Too soon unless you just don't enjoy coding. In that case, I'd say that moving on is great.

Re: Performance Tuning - The better approach

Neal, TECO is used in a few places such as PM and SM/CS (probably others too..) For TECO the code should be: select * from jest into table istat for all entries in itab where objnr = itab-objnr_wo and stat = 'I0045' " internal number for TECO from TCode BS23 and inact = ' '. PeteA Pete, Sorry, I di...

Re: Print a text only on second copy

I'm assuming that your need would include that if someone printed copy 1 on Monday and copy 2 on Thursday, that you'd want the same distinction to apply. Is that correct?

Ash, I would have sworn that you had just responded to another question with the fact that cluster tables couldn't be joined?

Re: Performance Tuning - The better approach

I noticed that your value for STAT is " TECO ", is that a user-status? PeteA Pete, TECO is a PS System status. It may cross to other modules too. I only know PS. It basically marks the end of the project, though it is actually more complex than that. I know that it's not what the thread is about bu...

NAMTAR,

Are you satisfied with what has been proposed here or should we go on making suggestions? I have further thoughts, but they are further onto the strange side, so I hesitate to give them unless you still want to look. - Neal

Very cool! I should be able to dig it out from that. Thanks Dr S

PS: recently, I've been thinking the same about your create table and join technique but experts keep telling me I'm nuts. I expect that I'll have to try it now.

I was refering to the following:
However, if you're using IBM's DB2/6 then you could be in for some surprises in regards to the FAEI clause as it works differently (believe it or not) to way that Oracle would.
Sorry, I should have quoted it the first time.

Are you building through a screen pool or just adhocking the names? If you look in SE80 are they all referenced properly?

Re: BDC session

There are a large number of screen processes where the screen flow changes when you move it from the foreground to the background. If you run the BDC in the foreground, does it succeed?
