Re: Relocating indexes

Please go ahead with Snowy's suggestion. But I am intrigued by your tablespace name: PSAPSR3TMP. While SAP treats its PSAPTEMP (as part of its definition it is permanent tablespace, much to astonishment of non SAP Oracle DBAs), is your PSAPSR3TMP a permanent tablespace or temporary tablespace? Index...

BASIS unique thoughts: We love watching static on TV (haven't tried it? there is Nirvana hidden somewhere). And oh, while watching static on TV, we also try figuring out... erm....eliminating those pesky functional and ABAPers in elegant ways...like using paper cuts, paper clips, shoe laces, Caterpi...

Re: Installing new language

You are in good luck. Spanish falls under Latin or codepage 1100. No need to install additional languages in the system and default installation should work. As Hoinz pointed out, you need to change the system parameter. I don't know S is for Spanish...thought "ES" -- Español is the parameter value ...

STOP ASKING ME SO MANY GOD DAMN QUESTIONS Darn! I must rapidly edit my reply to your other post on meeting Sandi in ...

Re: What were the worst IT Projects?

The worst IT projects were there with me in their team... just add some moronic management, aggressivelly hostile users and inoperant functional consultants and you have... o shit! any SAP implant. Now now Vic, I don't think the Borg run SAP..... However - Eastern Bloc management, 30 Solicitors on ...

You sound pseudo-old.

iSeries is latest in IBM branding. During my days, it was called AS/400.

I prefer clay tablets for my backups. You are a miserable heretic! True believers still use Tărtăria tablets. As a punishment for heresy, I looked at Tărtăria amulet. Below is my analysis of the backup: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4f/Tartaria_amulet_retouched.PNG 09 - 12 O'Clock...

Disclaimer: Long time ago, I've already disclosed my senility as per SEC, ILO, WHO, UNESCO, the Glorious Leader of North Korea and other assorted alphabet soups.

The way things are going here, why don't you admit and join me?

Look at the bright side, you get to get adult nappies. FREE!!
