Re: Jubilee concert

I find myself disturbingly attracted to Grace Jones.

I'd rather not know what a psychiatrist might make of that.

Re: Friday 13th Lunchtime Drinks - Egham

I'd like to extend my thanks to the landlord of the Red Lion, Egham, for posting that extensive menu.

Tired of Life in the UK

I'm sick of it. I want to move from Britain to somewhere wonderful; where the birds sing, shops stay open 24 hours, and you can eat out for breakfast.

I was thinking about trying Huntsville, Alabama, but I have no idea how to find a place to live over there.

Re: What does "[R]" signify if added to a SAPFans Subject Line?

Marvellous stuff from SC there.

Anyhow, I thought [R] stood for Rogered, ie the requestor had to confirm he/she had slept with the person providing the solution. Far better than awarding points. Probably.

I know the one. You must be made of money.

Ah, though I recall you never pay, so I guess it's Minter that's, errm, minted.

Re: Friday 13th Lunchtime Drinks - Egham

I'll try and get there, though the buggers have moved me to a distant office.

Actually where is "there"? We used to go to a pub quite close to the Shell petrol station. Is that the one you had in mind? Or do you brash consultant-types have somewhere more select in mind?

Re: Friday 13th Lunchtime Drinks - Egham

So let me get this right. It's your last day, yet your colleagues despise you to such an extent that you're having to entice Messageboard freaks to act as doting companions. It's a sad day when that happens (every three months for me, as a rule). I'm only a doubtful for all sorts of reasons. Are you...

Re: Customer Partner Functions - Data Load issue

It's been a while since I did this so don't shoot me down.

What effect might the following steps have:

Run 1. XD01 - excluding partner functions

Run 2. XD02 - including just partner functions.

Re: Copy material from reference

Unfortunately I only have one plant here so cannot simulate the problem.

Is this plant in the same company code? Has this profit center been assigned to that company code (KE52)?

Re: Copy material from reference

Does it allow you to change/save it manually or do you see an error?

Re: Anyone up for a beer in London for Wednesday 23rd March?.

You'll have to come north of the river, mind. It's the Doric Arch in Euston Station at 6.30 onwards (apparently it's where Dr Sidewalk goes to pick up errant female travellers, so just follow the scent of Lynx).

Re: Test Documentation

My windows logon, yes.

Though a colleague just requested a new SAP password and they changed his Windows logon by mistake. Now he's locked out of both but they won't reset them without authorisation. Even though they just did, if you see what I mean. It beggars belief.

Re: Test Documentation

Ha. I like the cut of your jib, sir.

And why, when I ring the helpdesk complaining that my password has expired and that I cannot logon, do they email me a new one?

Test Documentation

I'm sick of this, all the hoops I have to jump through every time I do a one line code change. Why can't they just take my word for it?

(That's a rhetorical question, by the way)
