I used READ_TEXT as follows:

ID = 0001
LANGUAGE = EN
NAME = ccccddddddddddyyyy (c = comp code d=docno y = year)
OBJECT = BELEG

And in return I found the text lines in internal table LINES.

What are your params? Do they differ from mine?

I'm at home so have no way of checking in SAP to see if what I am about to write is a load of rubbish. In MV45AFZZ there are a number of user exits, e.g. userexit_document_save (or something similar) In that exit you should have access to the before and after views of VBUK and VBUP (internal tables ...

Free Goods Redetermination only works partially [RESOLVED]

I posted this in the SD forum a while back but, sadly, there were no takers. My problem relates to free goods determination. Here is the approach we have taken: Table VBAK and table VBAP have had a new field appended to each - "Promotion Code". These fields are populated on the Additional Data B scr...

Free Goods - redetermining free goods entitlement

Hi, I'm an abapper by trade, so apologies for straying into your forum. We have a problem with free goods determination. Here is the approach we have taken: Table VBAK and table VBAP have had a new field appended to each - "Promotion Code". If, when creating a sales order, a promotion code is entere...

For what it's worth I get this error if I load a source list that is identical to an existing one (no fixed flags set).

Ha. Good question.

The answer is because, in CHECK_NUM_ALE (in main program SAPLMLSP) we check if the incoming number is within the reserved number range, and flag an error if it is. The number is internally assigned.

I'm going to post an OSS message, as I'm out of ideas.

Looking at a random document in the system here, the slip value appears in MKPF-XBLNR. The MM01 question - the PO text is held in the text tables (STXH, STXL). Use function module 'READ_TEXT' with the following params: ID = 'BEST' LANGUAGE = sy-langu NAME = (material number) OBJECT = 'MATERIAL'. Try...

BLAORD error: Number Range Conflict

Hi All, I'm migrating purchase contracts from SAP to SAP. I'm getting a file of BLAORD IDOCs which I feed into an LSMW that uses message type BLAORD, Basic Type BLAORD03. Any contracts that have service lines (segment name E2EDC20000) are causing me the following problem: In the function module MS_S...

Thank you for taking the time to reply, Svetja. I appreciate it :-) I discovered what my problem was. All the contracts in my input file had field E1EDP01-ACTION set to 003 (deleted). I did not know what value 003 meant. There's a piece of code in IDOC_INPUT_BLAORD which says: IF NOT H_NEW_CONTRACT ...

When status 53 does not mean what you think...

In the original poster's defence, I've a problem using BLAORD03 IDOCs but I can't describe the error.

The IDOCs have a status of 53. Their status texts say "Status : Application document posted" but the contracts haven't been created.

The T100 Text says "No T100 message exists".

RFBIKR00 timing out in LSMW

My LSMW is timing out. The file is a standard extract from RFBIKR10. My upload method is using standard program RFBIKR00. The input file structure is as follows: record type 0-1-2-2-2-1-2-2-1-2-2-1-2-2-2-2-1-2-2 and so on. i.e. a file header then many LUWs. But my LSMW is treating the entire file as...
