Re: Update Release Status on Pricing Record

Neither can I. Note that this BAPI is not released (at least in the ECC6 EHP7 I'm looking at). I've had problem when using it, especially for modifications of existing conditions. Mainly, it didn't delimit the existing records in the condition table based on the date, leading to several simultaneous...

Re: Update Release Status on Pricing Record

I think this release status is usually derived from the Processing status (KONP-KBSTAT), I'm not sure if you can update it directly.
However, it's part of the key in the condition table, hence in the VARKEY field in TI_BAPICONDCT.

Re: Getting data from the combined tables

I guess you don't want a join between BSIS and BSAS, you want the union of the lines selected either in BSIS or BSAS. In a program, it's easy, but I think you're working in a query here ? No luck without so heavily hijacking the additional coding points that you'd much easier write a program. And no...

Re: Transfer data by a FTP command or Remote FM

With a remote function call, you'll need a SAP user/password, and access to the SAP server from the application.
A file on a server only needs to be accessible by the SAP server and the consuming application, there's no need of a direct connection between the application and the SAP server.

Good catch! I'll have to remember this if I ever use these pre-exits. :)

Re: Class Enhancement

I'd have to test it - will do as soon as I have access to my IDES instead of the customer's system.

Re: Class Enhancement

It should work.
You're not catching the exception in the pre-method itself, are you ?

Re: Coding in Logical Database

You can look at the structure of the logical database in SE36.
Basically, at a node level, you have access to this node and the parent node(s) data, not the nodes lower in the hierarchy.

Re: Performance BSEG

Use table BSIS to select the documents, it's an index table designed precisely for this.
You can join it with BSEG/BKPF if you need additional data not contained in this table.

Alternatively, you can use the logical database SDF, like FLB3N does.

Re: Update data in cl_gui_alv_grid=>set_table_for_first_display

Have you tried using method REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY in your PBO?

Code: Select all

IF g_custom_container IS NOT BOUND.
* (...do as you do now)
ELSE.
  g_grid->refresh_table_display( ).
ENDIF.

Re: Put selection value in a variable

A select-option is a range table, with four fields: SIGN: I(nclude) or E(xclude) OPTION: EQ for equal, BT for between, GT for Grater than... LOW: lower value HIGH: higher value BR_BUKRS is the complete line, BR_BUKRS-LOW is the low value you wanted. Your IEQC means Include values EQual to C... (the ...

Re: Object instance creation within class

Note that there are factory methods that are not intended to create singletons - see class CL_SALV_TABLE, for example.
It's mostly a design choice.

Re: Display ALV using Custom Control?

Your field catalog should be a table, not a structure (type lvc_t_fcat, not lvc_s_fcat).

Re: Object instance creation within class

When you use such a factory method to get the instance, returning an instance from a static attribute or creating it if it's initial, you'll always get the same instance. In fact, there is only at most one instance of this class for your session.

It's ABAP OO's way to implement a singleton pattern.
