You need to write a custom program to achieve this requirement.

Re: Feedback about Genovate & Atos Mumbai- SAP SD Certification

As regards employers preferences, believe me, companies who are SAP partners and as well clients who are a bit SAP literate, prefer certified consultants. At the end, knowledge prevails. On the preference for certification we will have to agree to disagree. As an employer myself and supplier of peop...

Re: Feedback about Genovate & Atos Mumbai- SAP SD Certification

Pls note their trainers keep on changing because of money and availability issue. Some times, they even call their ex-students from previous batch for trainings. So a word of caution, always speak to the trainer and have his CV from the training institute before deciding which one to go for. SAP ce...

Re: Feedback about Genovate & Atos Mumbai- SAP SD Certification

Well I have a different opinion from that of Snowy. I believe if you plan to make a career as a SAP professional, Certification from an authorized institute is essential. As you grow in experience in your career and move in top MNC's and international projects they lay more emphasis on you being a ...

Re: SAP authorization post & display in different company codes

Auths generally worked the same in the various 4.0 as they do now (but roles were called responsibilities & lots of people still used profiles). The statement from SAP is as true now as it is then & as standard we can't split between tcodes that share the single object. If it is that important it is...

mm0000,

We are in agreement. Your initial question referred to a different (albeit related) auths behaviour.

Re: SAP authorization post & display in different company codes

I respect your option to disagree but that does not change the fact that based on your question your understanding of the following is not correct. "you can restrict the creation and changing of documents to one company code, but permit the display of documents in other company codes. I dont think w...

Re: SAP authorization post & display in different company codes

Hi, I disagree, I have achieved this plenty of times in SAP. Please read that link again as that example is also a lot more developed than the question you asked. In the scenario I gave you the access will be: Display for 1000 Create and Change for 2000 However (and this links to the thread you link...

Re: SAP authorization post & display in different company codes

Hi,

It is very possible.
As an example in a single or combination of:

Authorisation 1
F_BKPF_BUK ACTVT 03 BUKRS 1000

Authorisation 2
F_BKPF_BUK ACTVT 01, 02 BUKRS 2000

Will give you display only to company code 1000 and create and change only to company code 2000

Re: Field level security

The simple answer is it won't. You will need to engage a developer if you want to apply this to NWBC. In your situation I would probably look to extending the original functionality of the backend transaction to present sensitive fields to those who are authorised, ensuring that this applied to SAP ...

Re: USMM REPORT ON parallel login

Hi, The answer to your question depends on the licence agreement that you have with SAP. Assign your licences as per the definitions in your licence and then SAP will, in theory, calculate any extra due (not that i have seen this happen before even at clients where they have badly abused the multi l...

Re: Transaction codes added manually to Role

Hi,

They will only be able to run the transaction if they have the S_TCODE plus additional auths required to support the end-to-end processing of the transaction.

These auths could be in the role or available in the user master record.

Re: what after SAP security at age of 40

I guess it depends what interests you. If you want to stay technical then there is a whole world of security out there that compliments SAP. A broad security knowledge is a great advantage as it gives you options over & above that which SAP provides. Related to security is the area of controls. You ...

Re: Limit users to maintain only a field in MM02 - Possible ?

SHD0, which is a program and screen no. based control, cannot limit the change to only a group of colleagues, but affect all users who will use MM02. What I want is only a limit no. of people can use MM02, but only the "Storage Bin" field could be maintained. Is it possible? May I know how? Hi, you...
