Re: Wow. the number game was keeping this place alive

It's a virtual coffee corner so I'm sure they can handle a virtual IV of coffee. Yes.. to actually participate in SCN you need the latest and greatest in machines and software. My old PC and my previous client's PC with an older windows platform, were terribly slow. Worse than watching paint dry on ...

Re: Wow. the number game was keeping this place alive

We could crash the coffee corner at SCN but I doubt they'd tolerate most of us.

Re: Upload of document to Result recording

You can attach documents via the "services for object" functionality to the inspection lot. But the printing side you'd have figure that out. I don't know if SAP provides any ABAP tools to access these and print them out. Or how you would trigger them to be printed at specific times. You'll probably...

Re: Freshers

Actually, I think the emphasis in colleges in the US on responsible drinking have greatly reduced the new "freshers" ability to hold their alcohol. I've notice more and more younger folks that are really wiped out after just one or two drinks. Was this an acquired skill I gained in college without e...

Re: No inspection type base on user status is selected

Ok, I'm might be a bit confused as to what you want. 1 - it's not a user status. The status profile is assigned in the Q-info record. 2 - If you have a failed UD, the status is not updated, it remains on the current status. If you want the status to be change when a failed UD is done, you must do it...

Re: New Project requirement. Should you wish to

And if I get another email from them after that I shall ask for a refund. If you're not on facebook why would you think you'd get a refund? I'd hate though to be the one to point this out to you Rich.. but Facebook is free. Did someone scam you into paying for it? How embarrassing.. Craig

Re: Rates

I should say that it is very, very rare for any agency to publish and put out the agency rate. I also would commend them for that. It's always something consultants wonder about. Am I getting ripped or is the client getting ripped? If the client is billed at $300/hr and you are getting less than a 1...

I find those about 10-15% too low. At least, if they say, it includes $25 going to the agency. Just saying...

Re: DMR - restart from stage 1 after vendor change

The question is are you still using just one vendor? i.e. the new one? Or are you now buying from two vendors. If you are buying from two vendors, you need to switch your DMR to include the vendor. If you are just switching to a new vendor, you can manually reset the quality level using QDL2. Craig
