IT0052 Prorating Issue

Hi, I'm trying to help somebody whose company uses IT0052 and as we don't use it ourselves, I'm not sure how to fix the following problem. The paying out wage type is prorating if there is a split in the month caused by another wage type on IT0014 being delimited on the record. This is presumably be...

Fast Entry Actions - IT0002 Nationality

Hi, I suspect this might need some ABAP knowledge but here goes.... IT0002 Personal Details field P0002-NATIO (Nationality) is a 'sticky' field in our system which means that if our users do a hiring action via PA42, IT0002 only appears on the first hiring because P0002-NATIO is the only field that ...

PE51 Remuneration Statement and Splits

Hi, I need to show the hourly rate (/001) on payslips but it must be the rate which applies at the end of the pay period so any earlier splits in the month should be ignored, ie only the final split value should be shown. I know I could do this in a clunky way in a PCR but is there anything I can do...

CAT2 - Restrict Absence Types

Hi, Is there any way in the IMG of restricting the Absence types from appearing in CAT2 in the same way that you can restrict them for ESS? Our users are only supposed to enter Attendances in CAT2 but because the picklist includes Absence types, some users are entering them in CAT2 and bypassing our...

PE02 - Query if Wage Type Pensionable

Hi,

I have a rule where I want a different set calculations to be made depending on whether the wage type is pensionable. I can't see anything which queries the cumulations in V_512W_D - am I missing something or am I stuck with specifying the wage types I want the rule to work on?

Re: Feature EDTIN - Adding Program

Update - solution still needed I've found that the feature appears to be called every time you select a different pay period in ESS, whether it's from the overview of available payslips or paging backwards and forwards from the payslip currently being viewed. I did this by changing the payroll area ...

Re: Feature EDTIN - Adding Program

Hi rangachary, That's a good point - in our version of ESS the current payslip is displayed automatically and you can then go to the overview or use the Previous/Next icons to view other periods. Unless EDTIN is called every time you select a new period, there isn't any point in trying to amend the ...

Feature EDTIN - Adding Program

Hi, I've asked our ABAPers to write a program for me to call in EDTIN because I want to display different versions of a payslip in ESS depending on the payroll in-period (INPER) chosen. The logic I asked them to work with is along the following lines. If INPER => 201103, SAP_CALC2, otherwise SAP_CAL...

Copy Wage Type from one client to another

Hi, Over a year ago I created a wage type in our DEV system and it's in a released transport with schema and rule changes related to the wage type. Because our customer has been a bit tardy on the user acceptance testing in TST client the schema changes are now out of date and I don't want them to g...

Hi rangachary,

Now having a bit of a Homer Simpson 'Doh' moment - using ADDCU does exactly what I want. :D Thanks for your help.

Adding Deduction to '/' Wage Types GB

Hi, I've written a rule to determine the value of an allowance based on the amount of pension deduction and this is called at the end of our version of schema GAL0 Monthly factoring and storage - Great Britain. However, I'm having to manually add the amount into /101, /121, /131 etc so that GB tax a...

Re: Upload report for T5G_DTONI

Hi minttea, I've used this recently for EOY and other on-going adjustments where IT0793 doesn't help. Only things I've found are that the file path to your upload file shouldn't be too long, check your upload file doesn't contain quote marks (") around the values (can be caused when saving to .txt f...

Re: Blank lines on payslip

Hi dwij77, I suspect it's the rule in the payslip that's the problem. When I was testing it, I got Ireland to appear by making sure P0006-LAND1 was entered on the record itself and then having enough ADRS lines to cope with it. We go up to ADRS-LINE9 which is probably overkill as up to LINE7 should ...
