Re: Wage Type Posting to FI at employee level

Update #2. Success. We had to go into the LIne Item configuration : IMG - Financial Accounting / GL Accounts / Line Items / Display Line Items / Define Special Fields for Finding and Sorting Data and added Field BSEG PERNR to Table V_T021S We can now choose Personnel Number as a column to display. T...

Re: Wage Type Posting to FI at employee level

Quick update By changing the Field Status Group on the G/L that I am interested in, if I drill down into the line item (via G/L Account Line Item Display), I can see the Personnel Number showing on the "Display Document : Line Item" screen. The challenge is to now add a Personnel Number column to th...

Re: Wage Type Posting to FI at employee level

hrboss Thanks for the reply - V_T52EP looks like it should help. 11+ years in the SAP HR/Payroll space and have not seen this Table before... I've updated the entry in this Table (selected the PN checkbox) for the Account Assignment Type for my Symbolic Account and the posting is still going through...

Wage Type Posting to FI at employee level

Good afternoon all. Our Payroll postings to Financials are 'rolled up' at Cost Centre level and I've been asked to look at changing this for a specific series of Wage Types. Is it possible to have a Wage Type post at employee level so the GL line items will relate to a single employee rather than fo...

Re: OM-PA Integration - Changes To IT 1005/1008

Good afternoon all. Thanks for the prompt and informative replies. I had a bad feeling that it was going to be a manual task - I think we have some upload Programs for IT0001 that can override the existing PA/PSA & EG/ESG values. If it were one or two, then we could run an Action to change the value...

OM-PA Integration - Changes To IT 1005/1008

Good afternoon all. Our Org Structure team want to do a bulk update to Positions - changing the Planned Compensation (1005), Account Assignment (1008) and Emp Group/Subgroup (1013). Their changes to these settings for the Position Objects are not flowing through into the Org Assignment records for t...

Restrict Value Range - Options

Good afternoon. Two questions in relation to the set up of Restrict Value Range options (in HR). In PA20/30 (etc), if I do not know a Personnel Number, do a search using the Restrict Value Range dialog box. We currently have 3 types of search available, 2 appear to SAP standard (N, K) and one Custom...

Gregir

Good afternoon - thanks for the reply. I found a number of Tables were only the standard Relationships existed - maybe I need to change a few more of these before I can get some success.

Good morning - thanks for the quick feedback.

We tried the IMG - Org Management...Hierarchy Framework route but without success.

Looks like the user exit is the way to go. I'll update the post with any progress on this.

PPOME 'Drag and Drop' & custom Relationships

Good afternoon. Our Personnel area have reported an issue with using the 'Drag and Drop' functionality in PPOME. When using this to move Positions in bulk between one Org Unit and another, all of the standard Relationships are updated but we have a custom Relationship between these two Object Types ...

The Emails are being created without any problems but I need to have some additional information included and am not sure how to do this in the Standard Text configuration. Example - I currentl...

Update existing IT2001 records after Public Holiday change

Good afternoon. We recently created a new Public Holiday at short notice as the local Government took their time to officially confirm the details. There were a significant number of Absences in the system that included the day of this new Public Holiday. A check of these Absences via SE16 shows tha...

Good morning (again). So, a solution has been found. On the "Print Screen List" screen, I have to change the Output Device from the default printer to 'LOCL' before going through the process of changing the Print Format and saving these defaults via "User-specific print parameters". This saved the n...

Greg Good morning - thanks for replying. I've tried using the 'User-specific print parameters' to set the new Print Format (for both settings - thsi report only & all reports) but I can't get the new Print Format to hold. If I make the change, back out of the transaction and go back in again, the ol...
