Re: Making Optional MIC required in Inspection Lot

Hi Craig I think you may misunderstood what I require. In the material class (001), I will have a Class Char that ask if the Inspection is Required. I need a User-Exit that will read this value and then make the MIC in the Inspection Lot Required. I would assume that it will be a QM User-Exit. I onc...

Making Optional MIC required in Inspection Lot

Hi all Is it possible to use a User-Exit to make an Inspection Characteristic that was created as Optional to be Required for certain conditions? I would like to use the same Inspection Plan but the MIC must be Optional until the User change a Material Class Characteristic. The User-Exit must then c...

Table field to indicate if Inspection Lot has been cancelled

Hi all

I'm looking for a table field to indicate if an Inspection Lot has been cancelled. I can get the STATUS from table JEST, but this is a huge table and takes time to read and I would prefer a faster method. Does anyone know if there is a field to indicate this?

Thanx

Uploading specification limits for Dependant Chars

Hi I have about 2900 materials linked to about 50 Inspection Plans. For various reasons, I could not use Material Specification. I want to upload the Specification Limits of each Material by using the Dependant Characteristics specs on the Inspection Plan. How can I upload this as it will take very ...

Inspection Lot per pallet for serialised goods

Hi We are using Handling Units in our plants (Insp for HU selected on QM View). The materials are setup with 'Early lot creation for order item' in Inspection Type 04. When we create stock with GR drom Process Order, the boxes are added to the Inspection Lot and must be posted individually, although...

Re: Print specific customer requirement on CoA

Hi
Why don't you create a calculated char that uses the orginal chars value to determine if it is <2? In your certificate profile for this Material/Customer, you can then print the calculate char for this customer and original char for other customers.

Re: Creating an Inspection Lot w/o an Inspection Plan

Hi
If you don't want to use an Inspection Plan, the system will create Inspection Lot with characteristics in Material Specification (QS61).

See if this helps.

Re: to repopulate inspection plan after result recording done

Hi
You can Force Close the char that is not required or maybe you can re-create the Inspection Lot with QA01? It will depend on the type of inspection.

Printing results on certificate but without spec limits

Hi
We would like to print the measured result on the Certificate of Compliance, but without the specification limits. In the Certificat Profile, under Insp. Spec. Origin, the option 'No Specification' is not allowed when I want to print the result.
Is there a way to fix this?

Thanx

HU item refers to an inspection lot - error HUGENERAL320

Hi We are trying to adjust stock that is HU managed. The stock is still in QI, but it will not allow for adjusments with transaction HUINV05. I get the following diagnosis: Handling unit 800008282 is in quality inspection (inspection lot 080000000340). Before goods movements are posted, the system m...

Hi

I've used "Early lot opening for order item" and it is working. I still have the problem for transfer inspections though. Maybe SAP needs to look at this.

Back dating a VLMOVE

Hi there

Is it possible to back date a movement with material that is in a Handling Unit? I've tried VLMOVE, but cannot find a field to change the posting date.

Thanx
