Did you know that EU regulation 2257/94 states that bananas should be are at least 13.97 cm long and 2.69cm thick? This just can't be a coincidence.

@Rich, looks more like re-railing.

By the way COBOL is far from obsolete. People who know it are all retired now, so anyone knowing and working is worth his own weight in gold.

Well it is possible, but it will take ages. It's basically scanning all files. Open each of them, read dataset and check if string you are looking for exists.

When you write SELECT-OPTIONS, extension button is generated and apparently it prevents anything to be positioned after inside BEGIN/END OF LINE. If you use NO-EXTENSION addition to SELECT-OPTIONS, even your first order is going to work.

It is kind if switch that, when chosen, makes SAPScript print technical form content instead of its visual representation. Closest parallel I can think of is Web page (Form) and its HTML code (RDI). I really doubt it. Even if today all companies using SAP decide to use something else, effort required to move from SAP will be enough to provide us with work till the end of our lives.
