Re: SAP Query: Changing Infoset after Query is created

Afraid not. The query is specific to that infoset. Your choices are that you modify the infoset to include the fields you need (this option will depend on how many other queries are also using that infoset) or you start again with the correct infoset and create a new query.

Report Painter Horizontal Pages

I'm using report painter in 4.7 and want to group certain columns into blocks with spaces between. I'm sure I have done this before by creating horizontal pages and having each group of columns on a separate horizontal page. What I can't seem to do is get all the horizontal pages back together on th...

Report Writer - exlude on selections

Hi,
we are in 4.7 and I have an issue with some of the reports written in report writer whereby there is no exclude option on the selection options for the variables/sets, I only have includes (single values and ranges). Does anyone know how to enable the exlude options?

TIA

Re: Cost/ Profit hierarchy

They are stored in tables SETNODE and SETLEAF. You want to use setclass '0101' (cost centers) or '0106' (profit centers) and subclass equal the name of your controlling area. depending on how you are going to extract it, you will have to make repetitive reads changing the setname value. There are al...

changing milestone view

Hi, we are in 4.7 and I have been asked if I can add a tab to the milestone view such that I can include an extra tab. So, in an open project in CJ2b, if I click on a project details, the "change project definition" screen has 4 tabs: "basic data", "control", "admin" and "long text". If I click on a...

Re: ABAP table transactioncode programm name

?? Eh?

TSTCT is the text for transaction codes (hence "T" on the end). TSTC gives the t-code and program name etc.

1099 report - line items but no form

Hi, I have a bit of a strange problem. I am running this year's 1099s and I have one vendor for whom we cannot produce the form. I get a line items report for him and there is a value to print but when I try to produce the form, I get nothing, the screen returns to the line items list. All the other...

Re: Wire Transfer

I think the reason they are asking for this is because of the new SEPA regulations that come into effect later this year but I thought this was only for inter-European transactions not Europe-USA ones....not that this helps you. Can you do it via paypal? It might be easier and you will not incur the...

Re: Posting to Cost center and different cost center

You cannot do what you are wanting to do the way you describe. The cost center is tied to the profit center on the cost center master record. By changing the profit center at time of posting, you will get discrepancies between Profit Center Accounting and Cost Center Accounting. Have a look at asses...

Re: Cost center hierarchy change for Re-org

The standard hierarchy is basically just a cost center group so it will depend on the reports you are running. If you are using reports where cost center hierarchy/group is a report parameter, you should create a new cost center group based on the standard hierarchy (use OKEON to display standard hi...

AFAIK, you are in the right t-code - that is where I normally set it. Are you looking in your production system by mistake?

Re: Wrong posting.

If you have already cleared the open items, reverse the document using FBRA. Otherwise, reverse the document with FB08.

Re: How to make Table query

why are you wanting to create something that is already there?

Look under the "Information System" branch within the General Ledger section of the menu and there are all sorts of reports. There is a branch called "master data" that gives you a couple of G/L account list reports.

Re: Strange Christmas Observations

Iceland have quiet a good tradition where there are 13 santas and a different one appears on each day in the run up to Christmas and either leaves a present or a lump of coal (or whatever the modern inflationary equivalent is). They then spend the next 13 days, leaving one at a time (not sure if the...
