Hi, From your post we make out that the field "Payment Method" is being taken from excel spreadsheet. If thats the case, check the value in this field is no value exists dont fill the BDCTAB internal table and call transaction, directly move the record in your error table. why would anyone want to increase the runtime????

anyway.. we don't know if there is a profile parameter which can control it, but there are many other ways to make your programs run slower than a snail.....

The path for 46C is as follows -

SAP Library --> Basis Components --> BC - ABAP Programming --> The ABAP Programming Language --> Processing Large Volumnes if data --> Internal table

Hi Larry !!
The best approach is to use different development classes for different workareas as pointed out by Chaps. By work areas we mean create a development class for each module (SD,MM, WM etc).

This is the approach we have been using and found effective.
