Re: Remote Client Copy Only Configuration not Data...

Look through the entries in the CCPROF table to find the correct profile for your use.

Just be sure you really need to activate it - you can't deactivate it.

Create a printer in SPAD that is device type PDF and print whatever you need to print in that format to it.

Re: Performance problem on table PA0000

The primary key is the default index for a table. And you are certainly allowed to add indices for performance sake but I am surprised that SAP would not have suggested that in its overall solution to you problem. If SAP told you to create a new view on PA0000, make sure that some of the other views...

Re: Remote Client Copy Only Configuration not Data...

With that much data, it is going to take a good bit of time. Make sure to tune your PRD database (reorgs and stats where necessary) and enable parallel processing in the TST system to use 5 or 6 dialog processes. If you can't get it done in a reasonable window, you might try a client export from PRD...

Re: Transportation error while transporting to production

Amazingly, you haven't provided a lot of information considering the fact that you are in the midst of a GoLive and this could be your one shot to get help this weekend - so your Oracle version, platform, or whether this is an implementation or an upgrade was sort of important here. You didn't even ...

You can probably use the SolMan system for a couple years on 120gig or so.

Re: Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts

This error occurs when a person supplies an invalid password too many times in a day. The UFLAG field of the USR02 table gets sets to 128. You can reset that field back to 0 to unlock the user but make sure you reset his password because obviously he has forgotten it.

Re: Win2003 Solt'n Manager 4.0 Dev Need 6GB RAM?

SolMan is shaping up to be something along the lines of BI - they are like in the way that they are both systems trying to make bring order to the chaos of data in other systems. Like BI, SolMan does some really intense web work, and does some very unique work within the SAP landscape. So, yes, I ca...

Re: sap* locked in new client copy

You have to add the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 to your instance profile, and then cycle your SAP system before that sap* with a password of pass thing will work. It specifically tells you that in the installation guide.

Re: Port forward for Enterprise Portal 7?

Normally you would go into IIS and change the port number of the default webpage. But since SDM is the owner of port 50100, I am not sure where you would need to do this. You might want to ask the Java people.

Not unless you change your server's default home page from 80 to 50100.
