Re: Unexpected field reference

You have declared a structure called INCLUDE within a structure. You could set each of your fields like this: wa_data-field01 = '1'. wa_data-include-field02 = '2'. wa_data-include-field03 = '3'. wa_data-include-field04 = '4'. wa_data-field05 = '5'. If you intended to have all fields at the same leve...

Formatting Object Link with Multiple Key Fields

Hi all, In the right hand "Objects and attachments" section of a dialog task the business has requested a link to a Purchase Order Item. I have added the link by passing a reference to the custom Purchase Order Item Business Object into the Task. However the link displays as the concatenated PO numb...

Re: SAP ABAP practice program-help

What Gothmog is gently suggesting is that you don't need all that messy screen handling. Instead your input field should be defined something like: parameters: p_kunnr type kna1-kunnr. Then in the editor: Goto -> Text Elements -> Selection Texts to define the screen label. Doing it this way: Is conc...

Re: About Japanese Yen

Its because of the way SAP stores currency amounts. Here is what the ABAP online help has to say about the WRITE ... CURRENCY statement: In the case of data objects of type p, the decimal places defined in the definition of the data type are ignored completely. Irrespective of the actual value and w...

Re: Reference table in program from FM

Function parameters are always pass-by-reference unless explicitly marked as pass-by-value (which is not an option for TABLES parameters), so I don't see passing a large table as a big issue - you are only passing a reference to the table, not the physical data.

Re: can't find constant value

It depends what the constant value Z_AT_PAYMENT_MAIL represents.

Is it a Standard Text (suggested by its name), a Parameter Id, a fieldname, or something else ??

And don't forget to use the code tags around your code snippets.

Re: Code not returning Sales Doc Date

As a wild guess I would suggest it is because of this: SHIFT RP_SALDOC BY 2 PLACES. Why are you deleting the first 2 characters of the Sales Order id ? If it is to display without leading zeroes then there are better ways of doing this that don't presume you always have a fixed number of leading zer...

Re: Help: Locating Z message from MIGO posting error log.

Yep, sounds like you have done all the right steps. As knowledgeWorx says you can keep poking around in user exits and hope to find it, but I would be included to just tell them you can't do anything further without authorisation to run and debug.

Re: BAPI for changing Work order user status in IW32

Try appending the SAVE method after the userstatus / change method.

Also try setting refnumber and objectkey in the save method record (just based on a bit of old code we have lying around).

Re: Help: IDOCS - How to look for code/FM of outbound idocs

As you have noted outbound Process Codes and their FMs are defined in WE41. A Process Code may be set against a Partner Number / Partner Type / Message Type in tran WE20. Alternatively Sender Partner / Receiver Partner / Message Type can be specified directly as a Distribution Model in BD64. I assum...

Re: Help: IDOCS - How to look for code/FM of outbound idocs

If I read you right you need to know how to determine the processing Function Module. An easy way to do this is: tran WE19; choose Existing IDoc; enter your IDoc number; press [Create]; then on the new IDoc screen press [Standard Inbound] and you will see the FM name. Copy the FM name; back out to t...

Enclose the value in double quotes prefixed with an equals sign, like this:

Code: Select all

="000.145"
