Re: Calling all Basis Professionals!!- New Zealand

Hmmmm...could this be an evil scheme by some twisted SAP mastermind to lure all the much-reviled BASIS people world-wide to some secluded, private spot where they will be...but no, I will go no further...I don't want to give the ending away!

Re: Lighten up time 2

An elderly man walks into a confessional. The following conversation ensues. Man: "I am 92 years old, have a wonderful wife of 70 years, many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Yesterday , I picked up two college girls, hitchhiking. We went to a motel, where I had sex with each of the...

Re: cross link SAP transactions

Are you too stupid to read and comprehend? Can you not read that the General Discussion forum is for NON-SAP discussions?

It's not as if you are owed anything, or that you are doing us a favor by allowing us to answer your question. Please feel free to go elsewhere.

Re: is god blonde ??

well Dinosaurs and (probably) Mammoths did not live at the same time as of humans. Surely humans existed before 10,000 BC... In fact we were barbecuing them (wooly mammoths) as often as we could run them over a cliff or spear them, mmmm tasty, all-you-can-eat gluttony... From the noto...

Re: EEC 7

That version was 50 years ago - the EEC was established in 1958:

And as you can see, you are mistaken, there were not 7 but only 6 countries involved, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and West Germany. :P

Re: Using PROVIDE statement

You don't provide (ha ha, get it?) what version you are on...it makes a difference.

Have you tried F1?

In any case there are other ways of doing this, you don't have to use PROVIDE. If you do make sure you use it like the help suggests.

If you really are Jesus we can make a deal, I will give you a really good price.

Re: SAP****sing - A great source of SAP jobs

Wow! What a great site! NOT! So I type in 'HR ABAP' in the search...I get a total of NINE, count 'em, NINE hits! Hell, I get more than nine phone calls for HR ABAP jobs every day...they list 1 in the UK, 2 in Oz (but the same job advert'ed twice), the rest in the US that I've seen for months ...

Re: New to SAP

Since you mention infotypes I must assume you are implementing HR? It would help to know what version of SAP you're going to implement, ECC 6.0? In any case just by googling 'SAP infotype list' and 'SAP transaction codes' you will get many hits.

Re: How to Enable & Disable check box in ALV automatically

Obviously you didn't even look at the program code - there is a section that disables/enables checkboxes. You can look for 'enable' or 'disable'. I tried it, it works fine.

You should have been able to find this out for yourself!

Re: How to Enable & Disable check box in ALV automatically

Take a look at BCALV_EDIT_05. This has adequately-commented code showing how to enable and disable checkboxes.
