Re: Operating Systems

It's a pity Gary Kildall didn't have his head screwed on. CP/M services were accessed by loading AH with a value, other parameters in other registers then calling location 0005. Guess what.... this method persisted in MS-DOS right up to version 2.2 even though for MS-Dos it was calling Int 21h. I w...

CP/M OS360 OS370 MVS (Yeehah!!) On going investigations for SAP R/2 have now progressed to SAP TechEd... Ah, CP/M. The first computer I ever had to physically apply solder on was a CP/M machine -- the Exidy Sorcerer II... It was fun having a PC before the PC existed, and the 8-track cartridge roms ...

Re: Billing based on purchasing

SAP typically doesn't do dynamic pricing based on moving historical data very well. You'll probably have to build the solution custom. You might find condition cumulation and condition updating to be useful topics to get you started. If you can draft an example of what you are looking for, we may be...

Re: Sales order with drop ship and cross co STO

In the vast majority of cases, the legal requirement is for an independent contract, and separate billing. You can achieve all of this through a standard SAP intercompany sales order. If you don't want a GR, then there is generally no need for a purchase order and subsequent invoice verification. In...

Re: GI post to different expense account

Account determination for GBB is not sufficient? You can always try account modifiers there, or create a substitution rule on the FI side of the accounting interface. If you have complex rules, you can read a custom table within the substitution logic.

Re: Selling KMAT materials and Variant Config

Check your item category config. You can either deliver at the header, or at the item level. Your item category at the header is doing an availability check, and probably transferring requirements, as well (neither of which you want). It may be as simple as selecting the right item category group on...

The girls, yes. Bryson's friends, not so much. They were worse than a Tosh episode. At least those images would fade away after a few days!

Re: delivery block

You are looking for way more sophistication than SAP provides for. The answers above are still true, even after 8 years. It is not a transaction block -- it is an order review step prior to delivery. If you want better transportation planning, use shipments or warehouse management. They can give you...

Re: Rounding Values

You'll probably have to spell out the relevant conditions, and what is happening (not the whole procedure). SAP should be able to round exactly as you describe, so I assume I am missing a key detail about your requirement.

If you are creating with reference to an invoice (and you should be), then the document flow of the invoice will tell you everything you need.

Re: Rounding Values

Let me try to paraphrase... What SAP does standard is round to the nearest .01, but you are looking to round the discount up to the nearest .01... This should be possible using rounding rule "A" in V/06, right? So, when you use "A," is it not working, or is it that your required rule is not as strai...
