You may be correct, but if so, you failed!

Re: New Zealand Quake

Good to hear Sandi is OK. Horrible to see Christchurch like that.

Mind you, if you ever get into trouble, you really want to be somewhere with a lot of Kiwis - they help when you really need it.

If you have to be in an earthquake, do in it in NZ,

Re: GL transaction from subledger

Transaction type can vary (eg FB01 could be used for any subledger). Again, using a BAPI isn't really relevant to the sub-ledger. Your best option is the account type used (A, D, K, M, S) to determine the subledger or otherwise, and as you said, posting key will also indicate the subledger.

Re: Open Item Managed GL Account Change

Very odd- I tried this and got the same result. even if you get past this, the system won't let you change the OI status. In thepast, programs RFSEPA02 andRFSEPA03 were used to change OI status of an account, but SAP no longer support these, probably because it is possible to create complicated prob...

Re: Relocating to South Wales

They are offering 160-220/day (Sterling) for a systems accountant (I was hoping it was an hourly rate, but it's daily!) I agree with Sandi - the simplest answer is to move to NZ. Weather is about the same, pay and lifestyle is better, and no requirement to start learning how to pronounce longwordswi...

Re: Your worst nightmare

Vic, you should be OK. Firstly, for the next 10-12 years, but in any case, I think Bryson likes the slavic chicks. Just don't let your daughter become a brewer of good beer - he might make an exception. If she says "Daddy, when I grow I up I want to be a brewer".... Have I added a new nightmare? Jim

Re: Your worst nightmare

Nice to hear you are OK, Sandi. I thought earthquakes were mostly a North Island hazard, not so much a mainland issue - but I suppose both are at the collision point for a number of plates..

Fish,

I understand the conventional wisdom is "Don't knock it until you have tried it". Bryson may be able to provide more explanation on this,
