Re: House Bank Address Not In Transport

The system uses the field BANKL to query table BNKA to populate the address. Therefore, the bank master record i BNKA is a pre-requisite for the configuration to determine the address. In other words, the bank master record must exist before it can be used as a house bank in configuration. In your c...

Re: How to become SAP Functional Consultant

Why not? It makes as much sense as the project management on my current project. I shall suggest it as a necessary scope change. Keeping on topic, are you sure you want to be a functional consultant? It seems much easier on the soul to do ABAP, where the client's lunacies are viewed at second hand, ...

Re: FEBA Error Message FV616

It could be a couple of things. I suggested your first step is to check whether the bank statement did load or not (look in table FEBKO, there shouldbe entries for your loaded statements there. If the statement did load, and nothing is appearing in FEBA/FEBAN, then perhaps your selection parameters ...

PS PoD is a loser who couldn't even masquerade as a member of Vulture Squadron. How could he pretend to be Osama?

Re: FB60 posting - back out tax included

I can't get it to post WITHOUT net to expense and tax to tax account. I think there must be a really basic configuration setting difference. I am using tax transactions VST & MWS, TAXAU, and the tax rate set to 10% in transaction ftxp. FB00 entry has calculate tax on net NOT checked, FB60 entry requ...

Re: FB60 posting - back out tax included

I am not sure that I fully understood you, as tax arrangements can vary from country to country, but... In FB00 ensure tax posted net is NOT checked, and just enter the GL amount in the amount field in FB60 (the full, tax inclusive amount). The system will then calculate the tax portion, reduce the ...

Re: Bank statement date entered wrongly

I think the answer is the same as the scenario where a document has the wrong posting date: you can't change a posting date, or a bank statement date. Reverse documents and use RFEBKA90 and RFEBKA96 to delete bank statements, reload.

Re: How to set 'editing options' for batch-user

It is stored as a paramter id on the user master. Simplest solution might be to set your own users options to your satisfaction, then copy the paramter ids the batch user. From memory, the pids concerned are those starting with F

Re: Non swift/multicash electronic bank statement

There are some SAP programs for converting various formats to multicash. you could take a copy of one of these, then change it to read your file into multicash, then load normally. we use a copy of refbau00, but there are probably other similar programs,

Re: Clear a vendor invoice to customer receivable

Assuming you have included the customer and vendor in the selection critieris, which is an obvious pre-requisite, using the additional log functions should give you a comprehensive (perhaps excessive!) log for both the customer and vendor.
That should give you an idea of what is wrong,

Re: GL without cost element

If you can't improve the processes, and are forced to use a specific technical solution, I suppose you are stuck with it. In that case, I would suggest you post in the ABAP forum, asking for where a usable exit or similar exists - the ABAP skills in the financials forum are limited,

Re: GL without cost element

You could probably stop them creating a cost element via authorisations, or alternatively, via an exit on cost element creation, but it might be better to allow and create cost elements with only statistical postings (type 11)...or some other solution. What are you trying to achieve? I think a bette...

Re: SAP with Apple Mac

A lot of the BASIS people I know use Macs. Also some of the programmers (especially the workflow, portal, webdynpro types). Seem to work well. I despise Macs and Macboys. They took a good *nix system and fucked it up... So take your pick! Lots of BASIS and ABAP opinions or mine? I feel outvoted, but...
