I found it in C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\SAP\j2ee\admin\cfg

So you don't have a cfg directory under your admin folder? If you actually looked at your Visual Admin directories you would see a cfg directory. It contains a file adminCFG.properties which looks like it stores the connection details

Check your address area in the SCOT configuration - ensure it has * or the specific email addresses.

Did you click on one of them to see what was under it? You never supplied your version details so only you know which kernel you need. Once you click on the correct one you will get a list of versions. Click on the correct one and keep drilling down for your release, OS/DB version etc. and you will ...

Setup Background Job Monitoring of that system. You can setup table ALBTCMON so that an alert is generated if the job cancels or if the job is not scheduled which gets around the problems previously mentioned. I thought that was tiny.

I recently worked for a retail company and the database was 4.5 Terrabytes (that is with regular archiving).

You can setup monitoring pauses.

In RZ21 --> Technical Infrastructure --> Availability Monitoring --> Configure......

Select a system/grmg scenario and select Pauses. You can then specify when monitoring will not be active.

Then execute.

Set parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 in your instance profile and restart SAP. You should then be able to login using SAP*/pass

Transaction STMS, click the transport overview button (the truck on the left hand side of the toolbar), double click on the system you want to look at and select menu Goto --> Import History.

You can select the time interval there.
