Re: Occupational Absence Processing Functionality

You could set up the OxP absence types as Paid Absences. and set up everything else the same, this would mean that system will calculate Basic Pay etc as normal, and OxP as notional values. The actual Basic pay etc can appear in the payslip. However in the case where OxP is different from Full pay, ...

Re: transfer for Customer Consignment stock

Assuming they are not actually next door to each other, it would probably take more than 1 step. It took Phineas Fogg 575 steps to walk to the Reform club.

Re: PA40 and TPMM transaction

It looks like TPMM is just another version of PA40. To be honest, I have never needed to use TPMM ever in several years of SAP HR implementations. At the end of the day, data needs to be inside PAnnnn tables. If HR master Data already exists created by PA40, PRAA should be able to use that data to c...

Re: PA40 and TPMM transaction

Employees can be set up as vendors with all required details pulled through from HR, by using standard transcation PRAA.

Hope this helps.

Re: What type of mobile phone should I get?

Samsung Galaxy S2. Best value for money I can think of. Good screen, great camera, official Ice Cream Sandwich update. It has been around enough to not be overpriced anymore, but still not enough to start lagging behind. It was best selling smartphone of 2011 for a reason. Samsung Galaxy SII. Bette...

Hi Meera

Are you currently undergoing a course in SAP Time management?
Or are you straightaway implementing a live project?

Re: On the chopping block at Axon

I checked with a couple guys I know who work for Axon - seems to be business as usual - no talk about jettisoning people. All guys I talked to were HCM guys - perhaps the situation applies to other modules? I happen to know several projects are currently going on.

Re: e-payslips using SAP

There are standard transactions to generate a pdf payslip (HRFORMS) - fair amount of configuration/customisation is required.

Standard transactions to view pdf payslip via ESS on intranet.

probably need a custom program to send email pdf payslips.

Re: Expenses thru AP paid via Payoll

You could use the Travel Expenses module to crecord expenses which are not really travel related too. They can be picked up in Payroll and paid and posted to finance from there.

Re: The reason for the late joining of the USA to WWII

Ok.. I'll bite.. what does this have to do with the USA joining WWII? My guess is FOX reported a news story from a wire service that was put up. AP or some local news serives probably had the story put together from a number of sources and the actually writing of the story was outsourced to India o...

Re: Issues with the new SDN?

I finally made it through to the HCM forums - the new scn has certainly not slowed down all the "Please answer my very basic question, or better still do my work for me" people at all. Maybe they know something I don't about getting around this place.
