Re: Need a big TV

The days of plasma rule are slowly passing. modern LCD's offer pretty much the same performance, in some cases slightly better. (ok so the contrast ratio is never going to match).

Oh and one last thing;

Re: Close fiscal year 2007 for company code 1000 first

Trying to open 2009 is an obvious fail if OAAQ shows 2 years open. The system will not allow more than 2 years to be open. Can you please try to run AJAB online in test mode for 2007, and let us know the results? Can you please also check your authorizations? Is there a job log for the background ru...

Re: Fs10 in ecc6

Are you talking about drilling down at the line item level? FS10 (old version, now FS10N) is a GL balances report that "drillsdown" into FBL3N. Customer/ vendor rec accounts are usually not set to allow line item reporting. As such I assume you're not reporting on these. This would make the customer...

Re: Purchase Order and Incoming Inv has different Company Codes

Personnaly I would change that message to an error. The reason being, if it is a warning you can post without it ever appearing/ the user ever knowing. The check performed is between the GR and the PO, so the vendor master is not checked. The program LMRMCF1F will only display the mesage IF the line...

Re: zero acquisition value in standard asset report

Umm another case of different accounting principles per country.

That example isn't valid in the UK, nor is the described an "Asset".

On a side note, I did post on how to possibly fix the problem.

Our best advice can only be on accounting principles in the country we are working.

Re: zero acquisition value in standard asset report

I don't mean to be rude; but I would point your employer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assets There are lots of other solutions within the SAP system for you, but I don't think Assets is the right one. Have you thought about statistical WBS elements or internal orders? Perhaps SIO's all linked to ...

Re: Setting Up Asset on one company and then Transferring to oth

I haven't tested this but;

In Transaction ABT1N, enter the BDC_OKCODE "MULT" (in user speak; type MULT in the pretty white box and hit enter).

Re: Basic Questions - General Ledger Approvers

This sounds like some sort of bespoke solution.

In SAP speak what functionality are you using?

Are you parking journals and then "approving"/ posting them?
