Docs.zip

I have some documentation and code aimed at standardising ABAP. The zip contains a programming specification, and a series of include files for standard reporting, BDC programming etc.

E-mail me if you would like an uptodate copy. (Docs.zip in the repository is about 4 years old now).

Another way that would be interesting to write would be to create a GUI with a report, display that, set off a timer function such as ENQUE_SLEE...

You say 'Only run once per user'. If that's literally once only, then how about selecting your data from the USR01... tables which will give you a list of users to work on. If you mean once per login, then there is a user exit that is fired as the user completes logging in. I'm not on SAP at the mom...

Bipins reply is the correct way to go, however you may need to read the data as suggested by Abapkid as well. Using the navigation commands in the transactions avoids having to code for different screen resolutions, font sizes and the like. To find which line you need to request in order to change t...

Use the ON CHANGE verb. Loop at Itab. ... On change of Field2(1). skip. endon. ..... write: / itab. endloop. pls. dont use ON/ENDON commands...its tricky and also SAP does not recommend it from 46C. I would use the one suggested by ocvantol. I'll second that. I've never used the AT ENDAT constructs...

Welcome back!

No internet or phones --- does sound peaceful but what did you do with all the free time? Did you go through several days of technology withdrawals?
