It's a hangover from R2 where you could not specify work areas for select result sets. Using this terminology meant that as Ocvantol says, you can have two cursors open at the same time.

This should not be used in R3.

Load the main program of the transaction you want to search into SE38,

Use Edit->Search/Replace. In 4.6, don;t prress ^F as this brings up an excuse for a 'find' function.

Enter 'Call Function' as the search string
Check Upper/Lower case
Select 'In Main Program'

Click Go.

That would imply that I would then have to read the order and then modify the fields, followed by saving the order again, whereas if I can get at the configuration before the order is saved, all I have to do is populate the relevant field.

You will need to place a carriage return at the end of your data record.

Code: Select all

data: begin of x_file occurs 0,
                 rec(80),
                 cr type x,
        end of x_file.

Constants: c_cr type x value 0D.
Concatenate A B C D into x_file-rec.

Sri is correct in this. SY-LANGU codes should be sent via the conversion exit ISOLA to get the internal or external representations for the language code.

In the end of page event, just write a quick loop to total your values in the table and then write that to the form by placing it in an &variable&. If your table is bigger than one page of the form you will need to calculate the last row from the table so that you can loop upto that row. Or alternat...
