Re: Create a Dynamic ORACLE SQL with a WHERE clause

Even if you reuse the same subroutine pool name? I can't remember where I got the value of 37 from, but SAP help states: A temporary subroutine pool generated for an internal mode cannot be explicitly deleted. It remains available from its generation up to the point where the internal session is te...

Re: Create a Dynamic ORACLE SQL witha WHERE clause

I don't think you can use this condition table dynamically with native SQL. You could generate a subroutine pool with the complete SQL statement, and call the generated routine. However, there is no way to dispose of individual subroutine pools so if your code is going to do this more than 37 times...

Re: Implicit Enhancement Missing

I can also see the 3 implicit enhancements on our 701 system, so no idea why its not working for you. Have you tried different editors (Utilities -> Settings; ABAP Editor; Editor; Front-End Editor (New) / Front-End Editor (Old) ) ? Tried going into Enhancement mode (spiral button) before displaying...

Re: Cond Record Creation in parallel to MV45AFZZ

You cannot use a static variable since a static is only visible in the defining procedure. Also since the RETURN_ROUTINE is a callback routine using a global variable is permissable Also, what is the point of using a parallel task and then issuing a WAIT statement ? I think you're going to have a lo...

Yup,

And, to compound the issue, you are aware that as soon as you export data from SAP it becomes redundant ?

Re: Header_field_out throwing error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED due to fi

I would say that a report with 100 columns would be unusable.

Look at either making it into a hierachical ALV or using drill-down to remove a lot of the fields to another screen or grid.

Re: Join fields with different length?

I had the same problem with something like sales orders nd delivery details although I can't remember which field.

If you want to do a join with fields that are not identical in length you can do so using Native SQL (ie enclosed in EXEC SQL/ EndExec) rather than in Open Sql.

Re: Header_field_out throwing error GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED due to fi

GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED Occurs when you have a field in the field catalog that does not exist in the source table.

Re: Coffee Culture in the UK.

Well, since Prohibition, the alcohol culture in the US is going south. Just once do I want to get a cognac that's been actually brought to a proper temperature. I was actually asked once, if I wanted ice with that. On the coffee - if I go into an Italian restaurant, I ask first, if their espresso m...
