Displaying my HTML in HTML viewer.

I wonder if anyone has some tips of sample code for the simplest usage of HTML viewer. I want to create a page in Web repository and load it into an HTML viewer. I did create a page in se80 and a MIME object with HTML, but when I take its document ID from the Properties window (tried both logical an...

Re: Assign Batch# to a Production order

In such cases I make a DB table that saves what has to be done (order, batch) and other information. For example, we can say we can try three times with the update and if doesn't work on the 3rd - just give up and delete the entry. The table is then checked in a periodical job that does the changes....

Re: Make your own car fuel...

Looks very promising, but read carefully till the end of the article. Fuel cells, a more efficient system, cost in the range of hundreds of thousands.

Re: Is SAP good for me?

6-8 weeks?? that will provide very little! I have been learning SAP for over 8 years and will continue to learn for as long as I can work in SAP! What you need is full end to end project life cycles! you will NOT get that in 6-8 weeks! Yes but at least it will provide me ground and basis to get "in...

Re: Is SAP good for me?

Thanks for the quick reply. How about I complete SAP course by spending US$4000, then will I get at least an internship after that? In general, chances are weak. But is it so expensive there? I mean, if not directly by SAP. I'm not sure how can a Pakistani feel working in India, but finding a job w...

Re: Stop release of Production Order

i'm sorry to intrude in this discussion but the desicion whether an order is released with posting or afterwards is made due to configuration. maybe (just maybe) you can choose the attempt to release all orders 'later' (by covering 'later' in your program) and have the 'not to be released immediate...

Re: Stop release of Production Order

The standard way is to define a new user order status, the setting of which will prevent the release. You do this easily in customizing (better ask your functional folks). Then, in the user exit you mentioned, you do your checks, whatever you want, and then if needed, you call the function STATUS_CH...

Well, ours is like that:

Search in SAP Help with JOB_OPEN. There is an example there that explains you everything you need.

Long time ago I was assaulted by a headhunter looking for someone for a contract. He was so desperate to get someone that even after having explained that I can't do contracts because of legal restrictions, he continued to increase his offers. I think the last one I turned down was in the range of s...

Re: COL Munich

It's cheaper in Holland/Netherlands, there's plenty of contracts at the moment and all the budget airlines fly here and the rate is good at the moment. And as for Amsterdam, Nuff said. Dr Sidewalk From what I heard from ex-colleague, renting in Netherland is equally tough. One important thing to co...
