See? That's what those Basis guys are up to! At my former company they fired a sysadmin who used the company Internet connection for ... you now what. It was back when consumer DSL was not so widely available.

Re: Production Order : Components for operation

For the routing you read them either directly from the PLMZ table, or with the function CP_EX_PLAN_READ (plmz_exp is the list). For the order, they all are in RESB.

BTW, it's really easy to find with SQL trace.

Re: Default printer in ALV

Hi! That, with the breakpoint is an excellent idea. But later I realized that it's not SET/GET. The wrong printer is coming even after re-logging in - SET/GET are reset in this case. It seems that ALV reads some user-specific settings, that you can save in the print dialog, but on our system this lo...

Default printer in ALV

Hi! I am dealing now with some weird behavior of ALV REUSE functions. The thing is, in most of programs, upon selecting the Print command in the menu, the following screen is filled in with my default printer. In one of the programs however, the printer field is filled with the last printer used. I ...

Re: D'you work abroad and have a UK Bank Account?.

If the speed you mention is true than I cannot understand how is it that archaic cheque system still survives. There are some useful applications like post-dated cheques but otherwise it's the stone age. :D Because they charge $10.00 on each side of the wire transfer. Checks are free mostly. Craig ...

Re: D'you work abroad and have a UK Bank Account?.

Wiring monies in the US between banks is usually measured in hours. Even international wires are usually done the same day depending on the country. Checks/cheques are still very much in use in the US. The younger generation and computer savvy are more comfortable with online bill payments and auto...

Re: D'you work abroad and have a UK Bank Account?.

In the US if you deposit an out-of-state check, it takes 5 days for it to be fully honored. My bank will honor checks I write against it that come in for payment but won't allow any transfers, ATM transfers or checks written to cash to be paid out. Now if your talking about wiring monies that would...

Re: Displaying my HTML in HTML viewer.

Thanks. I'm afraid your sample is not complete and it shows some file from the local PC. I need to show a document saved in the system. What I am doing now is creating a standard text, then reading it, then calling CONVERT_ITF_TO_HTML to get the HTML (with formatting). And finally, I use an HTML Con...

Re: How to refresh in an ALV for dummies.

Hello dear Illya, thank you for answering. Yes the POP UP with the message appears Oh, then it's not the problem I described. Now I think that you simply don't update the internal table. Your select above just changes the data in a workarea (structure wa_mard). I don't see any updates to the intern...

Re: How to refresh in an ALV for dummies.

Does this popup appear? I don't remember having any problems with refresh function itself - just update the content of the internal table. But I had a problem with ALV ignoring the standard "refresh" buttons. I had to make my own refresh button (with set pf-status) - only then it finally worked. To ...

On what exactly? I just meant that you try to change the order several times. At some moment it will not be locked anymore and you can update the batch.
