"pedantic" is an adjective, while "a**hole" is a noun - they cannot be interchangeable! Now if you said - in modern English, "pedant" is actively being replaced with "a**hole" that ...

From what I managed to learn from native English speakers in the past years, in modern English, "pedantic" is actively being replaced with "a**hole". This is to make all you native guys sure that we non-native do all that we can to improve.

Re: Joys of non-native English speakers

Re: More and more advertising on the SAP Fans !

Well, I didn't try but maybe you can do the following: adding the above mentioned host name to the list of sites in "Restricted zone" of IE. Those will normally have Javascript completely disabled (or you can adjust this in settings), thus stopping the ads from appearing.

Re: More and more advertising on the SAP Fans !

Just add one line: pagead2.googlesyndication.com 127.0.0.1 To your winnt/system32/drivers/etc/hosts file and you will be fine. I think I posted this trick some time ago but could not find it - maybe someone has deleted ...

Re: Help to implement F1 help in report program

All you normally need is to define this field (in the DB table) referring to a data element. And create short documentation for this data element. And maybe translate it to uer languages.

Re: Converting Albums and Tapes to Digital

Am I the only one who is lucky enough to have my taste more or less changed about the same time when I got a CD player? Now I look at those old tapes I did in teen age with disgust, with rare exceptions. Depends on age of course. And I was not in hurry to get a CD player while tapes still worked for...
