Re: Procure Customer Stock ( Item Category C )

This is not SAP-standard. You need to have your MM team configure it per your business requirements.

Re: Info record adoption question

OK - I thought you were trying to prevent the plant-independent inforecords from being created in the first place. You could configure plant B to require a source list, thus forcing users to create their plant-specific inforecorder before creating a PO. There is also BAdI ME_CHECK_SOURCES where you ...

Re: Info record adoption question

Check customising in OMFI and make sure you have the proper value configured and assigned to all users in parameter EVO. See OSS note 202173.

Re: Allocate Stocks for a Customer

The order type is not important - it is the requirements class that determines whether or not you can have sales order stock (412E). You need to enlist the services of someone well versed in SD configuration.

Re: What is the use of EQUI-REVLV?

Re: Allocate Stocks for a Customer

One option is to use a requirements type that uses special stock 'E'. This will create a stock segment specifically for your sales order. You can then either procure to order or transfer existing stock to the customer segment.

Re: A Business Case - Assembly To Order Pricing

IMO, 'cost plus' pricing is only used by companies who do not know their market. Selling price should be determined by the value of the product in the marketplace. An example: If I have a really good purchasing department that gets a price reduction from a supplier, should I simply give away that co...

Re: LIS Previous sales documents

SAP provides programs for this. I don't remember the names, but they are listed in the IMG documentation for LIS setup.

Re: collecting requiremnts in MRP - MTS

This is determined by the checking group (MARC-MTVFP). In the standard system, '01' provides summarised requirements, while '02' provides individual. Note that changing the material master will not change existing requirements!

Re: Supersession in Flexible Planning

What I have done in the past is the following: 1) Update infostructure 'X' with the actual data from postings. 2) Use copy management with a bespoke copy routine to read the supercession data and change the material number in the target infostructure 'Y' during copy. 3) Use infostructure 'Y' for pla...
