earliest and latest dates

Hello I have monthly orders that have a week's buffer either side, that is, an order due on August 8th can be done anytime from August 1st to August 15th. So in IW38 what I'd "like" to see is Earliest start Aug 1st, Planned date Aug 8th and Latest start Aug 15th With no buffer, I get my Aug 8th date...

Rescheduling next orders based on closing dates of previous

Hi I have a maintenance plan scheduled to call orders for equipment calibration. Regulatory reasons(pharma) allow the users to do the calibration up to a week before or a week after the scheduled date. When they complete the calibration, they want the next order to be scheduled from that completion ...

Thanks Erik. We're not using ECM so may have to look at substitute or follow on products I think.

BOM validity dates of component

Hello: I have a replacement component in my BOM so I'd like to change the validity finish date of the old component from 31.12.9999 as June 15th (for example) and put in the start date of the new component as June 15th also. But the dates are greyed out - can anyone explain this? Thanks for your tim...

RF display font changing with screen change

Hi: I'm using SAPConsole and RF scanners. The telnet connection is working and the basic RF is there. My problem is with the display in that as the buttons (Eg. the menu list on LM01) display as white stripes, i.e. the text and button are the same colour so impossible to read. The text that is not o...

Re: 2-step picking for individual requirements

Thanks Elmanu, I've gone with 2-step confirmations. I still have a slight problem in that if I have a TO with, e.g., 4 items, and I use the RF gun to confirm the pick step for each item, when I go to the the putaway confirmation step, once I confirm 1, then the TO is fully confirmed. What I mean is ...

Re: RF monitor - Setting up Queue management!!

Hi Elmanu, thank you for that suggestion. After trying a LOT of different ways, I eventually got it working. S urprisingly, the field that made the difference was Door. As I don't have any Doors configured, I had kept it blank. When I put in *** into the Door field, to my surprise and relief, it wor...

RF monitor - Setting up Queue management!!

Hi: I have a small warehouse, with one storage type 001 for stock, 100 for production supply and then the usual 9** ones, 902, 916 etc. I have one queue (Q1) so everyone can access all open TOs. However I can only see the TOs that are open for transfers from 001 to 100 and cannot see the open putawa...

Re: 2-step picking for individual requirements

Hi Elmanu, Belinda, I have a similar problem. My users are going to have standard WM RF(Scanning barcodes) and want to record the pick from the source bin and then, separately, confirm the putaway to the Production bin. I was heading down the route of 2 step picking. I found this post v useful in te...

Mat Staging from IM sloc to WM sloc to supply area

Hi: I have a supply area set up in my WM sloc 0088 to feed my Process Order. The material needed is in an IM sloc 1020. What I want to do is 1) stage it from the IM sloc to the WM sloc and then 2) use the WM staging in the process order to generate the transfer requirement so the stores person will ...
