ISA Applications - XCM Shop Configurations - Customer Config

I'm working on an ISA B2B application - we currently have 5 shops for various language, currency, and country combinations. As we are spreading our solution into the EU & other EMEA countries, I need to add an additional 4 shops to meet the business requirements. One major thing I need to do is to t...

Tech. obj. for service contract item with schedule line (R)

I heard back from SAP. Their take is that once you add scheduling lines, then you should expect to have a delivery - that's why they don't support attaching objects like you would in contracts. For the record, I have configured this using two lines - one the maintainence agreement we sell to our cus...

Tech. obj. for service contract item with schedule line (R)

Well I'll try this again...... I have a requirement to purchase a service contract from a third-party, and then resell to our end customer. We would like this tied together in the document flow so we can easily backtrack what purchase order is for which end customer contract. I've been able to confi...

Regarding the Size of the Database

I just had this post locked because I hijacked it: http://www.sapfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=35045 For the record - yes I did it - I broke the rules....but frankly, it's getting really difficult to search for solutions and I thought this was the best approach. By hijacking the post, it eliminate...

Tech. obj. for service contract item with schedule line

I am curious if anyone else had solved this issue yet with the inability to attach technical objects to a contract line item once a schedule line is generated? My scenario is similar as described previously - I have a requirement to purchase a service contract from a third-party, and then resell to ...

Vertex Tax Software - Complex Exemption Rules

Stats: ECC5 R/3, Vertex Tax Software interface via RFC OSS note 112568 has been applied to our system which is driving the tax exemption based on the sold to account number. The exemption certificates are loaded into Vertex, and the interface is working as expected. Our accounting department has rev...

Removing Revision Level

I've recently discovered the function module 'CAP_REV_LEVEL_MAINTAIN' which allowed us to create tools that will rapidly add new revisions to materials when a change order is placed on them. However, when there is a reversal in the change management process, we'd like to remove those revisions just ...

Bill of Material Multi-Language Support

Hoping someone has some advice on this one.... For the past several years, we have been loading all information in the 'EN' description field. With a recent acquisition, it is required that we now use the 'DE' GUI as well. As you can imagine, there are countless reports, transactions, and master dat...

The only thing I can recommend is to look at the ABAP report 'RCUUPDMATVAR'

It's used to regenerate material variants (simular task but in the material master instead of the sales order). It's not the same thing, but maybe it will give you a jump start on the problem.

If you need to read/evaluate an object dependency you can use the FM
'CUKD_API_DEP_READ'.

Were you thinking of CL24N? That only will restrict the values, not characteristics themselves.

To solve this problem when automatically loading material variants, I used SAP's configuration BAPI's: *inputs: *MATERIAL_VARIANT TYPE MATNR *QUANTITY TYPE KLMENG 1 *PLANT TYPE WERKS_D 0001 *DATE TYPE DATUM SY-DATUM *table inputs/outputs: *VALUES_TO_BE_LOADED LIKE CUXE1CUVAL, " Input Chars *VALUES_L...
